Irma Granger, 1998 BSB/M graduate, was promoted to senior vice president, HR Systems & Planning at Union Bank of California.

Kelli Houston, 2003 BSB/M graduate, accepted a new position as learning consultant with Kaiser Permanente.

Jennifer Lude, 2007 BSB/M graduate, was recently promoted to personal sales agent with Liberty Mutual.

Scott A. Sauer, 2006 BSB/A graduate, was recently promoted to manager of operational safety at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in Philadelphia, PA.


Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration

Wanda Carol Lirette, 2006 BSCJA graduate, was chosen by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to serve as a member of the Governor's Advisory Council on Disability Affairs.  Lirette is the vocational supervisor at Options for Independence and has been an advocate for people with disabilities for many years.


Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Jon Guenther, 2004 BSIT graduate, will publish his new book, SOUL RUNNER: A Novel of High Adventure, in June 2009.


Master of Arts in Education

Dennis Brungardt, 1996 MAED/DL graduate, is a program manager with Developmental Disabilities Resource Center and has been Coconut the Clown for 29 years and also has been Santa Claus for Denver metro-area families for 32 years.


Master of Arts in Organizational Management

Lura Kulhavy, 1995 MAOM graduate, was recently promoted to associate director of institutional assessment for Ashford University.

Patti Vargas, 2005 MAOM graduate, recently published a book, EXTREME Project Manager Makeover!  She also holds a BSBM degree.

Heather Kies, 2007 MHA graduate, accepted a position as a program director of medical assisting at the Goodwin College in East Hartford, CT.

Noreen Dratch, 2001 MBA graduate, has accepted a position as tax specialist with Nustar Energy in San Antonio, TX.

Felicia Evans Long, 2008 MBA graduate, started a new event planning business called Sweet Events and Planning in Bethesda, MD.


Doctor of Management

Cheryl Lentz, 2007 DM graduate, published her first book, The Golden Palace Theory of Management.  Her next books, Fail Faster, succeed Sooner, and Leadership Comes Softly will be published in the summer of 2009.  In addition, Dr. Lentz created her own company, The Lentz Leadership Institute.
